Fragrant chicken w orange pilaf - serves 4-6

Most countries have a rice and broth dish and this version is Persian in origin with marinated free range chicken thigh baked on a bed of oniony, garlicy rice with aromatic spices, dates, orange and cashew. A real family crowd pleaser with no chilli just a warm slightly sweet rice (from the dates) with succulent steamed chicken

Free range chicken breast, rice, onion, capsicum, almonds, date, orange, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, chili powder, paprika, coriander, parsley, mint, olive oil, GF stock, garlic, salt, pepper.



Allow to defrost overnight in fridge. Remove lid and pour over 2 cups boiling water. Cover tightly with foil and place in pre-heated 180c oven for 35 minutes. Serve with crisp salad or steamed vegetables drizzled with honey + toasted sesame seeds,
