Who is eligible for subsidised Support at Home meal services?

You may qualify for subsidies for aged care meals delivered if:

• You are approved for Support at Home (SAH) through an aged care assessment team.
• Your home care plan includes meal preparation and delivery services.
• You receive support through the NDIS.

Cost of meal preparation and delivery

The cost of meal preparation and delivery is largely funded by your Support at Home plan. You may be responsible for a small out-of-pocket expense to cover the cost of ingredients only.

For example:

70% of meal cost
Paid by your Support at Home provider (covering preparation and packaging)

30% of meal cost
Paid by you (covering ingredient costs)

Delivery fees = Paid by your Support at Home provider.

On average, this out-of-pocket cost is approximately $4 per meal.

Dietlicious offers simple invoicing options:

• SAH Provider managed: Pay 30% upfront, and we invoice your home care provider the remaining balance.
• Self-managed: Pay 100% upfront and claim reimbursement from your plan manager.
