Joanna O'Sullivan

Marketing & Communications Manager, Dietlicious

Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition (Deakin University)

Joanna has been writing about nutrition, health and wellbeing for 10 years, eight of which have been with Dietlicious. She explores how everyday food choices shape long-term health outcomes, with a focus on practical, sustainable habits — nutrition, movement, sleep and lifestyle practices that work together — to help people reach their weight and health goals without extremes or quick fixes.

She originally trained in Economics before spending two decades in brand and product marketing, then returned to study nutrition — a shift driven by her own growing interest in food and health. She now combines both worlds, translating nutrition science into clear, achievable advice for real life.

Joanna loves nothing better than spending time in the kitchen. She strongly believes in the health benefits of cooking from scratch with fresh and nourishing ingredients. With three active teenagers and a hungry husband to feed, her home-cooked meals rarely last long. Like so many other time-poor mums, she knows that healthy eating should feel realistic, not restrictive.
