Dietlicious is a registered NDIS provider that supplies healthy meals suitable for NDIS participants. The service offers support for individuals with temporary illness, during recovery, or those with long-term needs. Meals are prepared fresh, to align with the Australian Dietary Guidelines, and are delivered to the recipient's address. Meals are snap-frozen to retain their quality and minimise waste, providing flexibility on when they can be eaten.

How NDIS food delivery works

To be eligible for home-delivered meals under the NDIS, you must have a core supports budget, usually with a stated line item for meal preparation and delivery. If you’re unsure whether your plan includes this, please contact the NDIS, NDIA or your Plan Manager. Or talk to our team for advice.

Dietlicious provides approved NDIS participants with a range of affordable meal choices:

• Vareity of Options – Our menus offer a diverse range of breakfast, lunch, dinner, salad and snack options to cater to individual tastes and dietary requirements. Whether you need softer foods, high protein, or diabetic options (to name a few), we have something to suit your needs.
• Easy Ordering Process – We make ordering easy - you can either call us on 1300 131 070 to order, email or logon to your account to place an online order. Let us know how you want to order, and we’ll take care of the rest.
• Subsidised Costs – NDIS participants only need to pay a small 30% co-payment to cover the cost of food. Funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme covers the rest. If you have a Plan Manager then we will only charge you 30% at the time of order and we will invoice your Plan Manager the rest. No out-of-pocket expenses for you!

If your co-payment is 30%, you’ll pay around $3 - $4 per meal.

There are two ways to pay:

• Self managed plans: Pay the full amount upfront with Dietlicious, then claim back the difference via the my NDIS portal or app.
• Plan managed: Pay your contribution only, and let Dietlicious invoice your Plan Manager the rest.

 

 

Brisbane delivery information

We have our own drivers and vans on the ground for meal delivery Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. We also use reliable courier companies, Be Cool Couriers and Cool Couriers to make some of our deliveries. Wherever you need your food, we deliver to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW to Byron Bay and Ballina, and everywhere in between!

Regular delivery is available on most weekdays to Brisbane City, Brisbane South, Brisbane Northside, Gold Coast, Tweed Coast, Bayside, Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW to Ballina. Do I need a plan manager to access your delivery service?

Participants with self-managed or plan-managed NDIS plans can use both registered and non-registered providers. If the NDIA manages your plan, you must use an NDIS registered meal provider like Dietlicious.

What do NDIS approved meals cost?

The cost of your meals depends on your NDIS plan. Most participants pay a co-payment that covers the food ingredients, while the NDIS pays for the meal preparation and delivery. A typical copayment is 30% (though this may vary). For example, if your co-payment is 30%, you would pay approximately $3 - $4 per meal, and the NDIS would cover the remaining 70% plus delivery charges.

How are the meals delivered?

Our meals at Dietlicious are flash frozen to maintain freshness and nutrition and delivered frozen (excluding some fresh salad leaves).

Am I locked into a contract for my NDIS meals?

No, you have all the flexibility you need. That's the beauty of our individual meals or calorie plans, just order what you want whenever you need.

What are your delivery areas?

We currently deliver to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide, both metro and many regional areas too. Please check your postcode on our delivery area page to see if we deliver to your location. We have our own delivery drivers and partner with trusted couriers for reliable delivery services.

Does Dietlicious also support Home Care Packages?

Yes, as well as being a trusted NDIS provider, Dietlicious can also help recipients of home care packages. We adjust our services to meet the needs of both programs, making it easier for more people to enjoy our healthy and delicious meals.
